I contracted Jake and Nick from Prime Decks to convert the deck they built us in 2020/2021 into a screened porch in early 2024. After discussing price, details on the materials and timeline they applied for permits before kicking off the project. The project took around 6 weeks to complete and we are so happy with the results. A deck in the DC/VA area doesnt get much use do the weather, mosquitos etc. However, since they finished our screened porch, we’ve already utilized the space more often in 3 months than in 3 years. The crew are professional, show up around the same time every day and work very quickly. We have contracted Prime Decks to build out garage next!"

My husband and I reached out to over half a dozen different companies to replace our 30 year old wood deck with Trex, and ultimately we decided to move forward with Prime Decks and it was a wonderful experience. Nick was very thorough and committed to making sure everything was completed to perfection. The crew was here every day from sun up to sun down and worked with incredible skill and speed. Occasionally we encountered unforseen issues, as you'd expect with any project, and Nick and Renaldo went above and beyond to ensure creative solutions to meet the goal. There was a time we had considered trying to tackle the work ourselves, but watching these men work their magic, it's clear what took them a couple of weeks would've easily taken us a year! I would highly recommend Prime Decks and would certainly use them again for any building projects.

If I could give Prime Decks more than 5 stars I would. The final deck they built me was absolutely gorgeous. I actually drew up plans for a covered deck addition to my DC home back in the fall of 2020. I went through the permitting process with a different company and ended up having to release that contractor. It took 3.5 years with the original company and DCRA. I hired Prime Deck after I fired the first contractor. Needless to say I had been through a lot with the project at that point but Jake and his team really supercharged the project and finally delivered far more than I imagined 3 years ago when I designed the project. The quality of work was impeccable, the communication clear, and in they were very timely. I can't say enough good things about this company. They know what they are doing.
